What exactly is a "Tack Tour?"

A Tack Tour is similar to a "pub crawl" or a "bar hop," but instead of visiting bars, we’ll be visiting popular tack shops in the Atlanta area. It's a fun, social event designed for equestrians to meet new people, shop for horse gear or gifts, and enjoy expert guidance from a seasoned professional, Danielle Perry, on choosing the right products.

Can I attend if I’m new to horseback riding or don’t currently own a horse?

Absolutely! This event is open to all equestrian enthusiasts, whether you’re a seasoned rider or just starting out. It’s a great opportunity to meet like-minded horse lovers, learn about equestrian products, and enjoy the social atmosphere.

What can I expect from Danielle Perry’s expert guidance?

Danielle will be available throughout the event to help you select items that suit your needs, whether you're purchasing tack for your horse, riding gear for yourself, or gifts for fellow equestrians. Her experience as a judge and rider ensures you’ll receive professional advice tailored to your goals.

Do I need to bring anything specific if I want help making purchases?

If you’d like personalized advice, we recommend bringing photos or videos of your horse or your riding (or your friend's or loved-one's horse or riding). Danielle Perry (a USDF Silver Medalist and USEF "R" dressage judge) will be happy to review them and offer her insights, whether you're shopping for your horse or a horse-loving friend or family member.

Is lunch included in the ticket price?

The $30 ticket price covers participation in the event, but lunch is not included. Each guest is responsible for paying for their own meal at the restaurant we’ll visit during the event.

Is there transportation provided between locations?

No. Each participant will be responsible for her/his own transportation during the day.

Is there a limited number of attendees?

We are limiting the day to 50 participants.

Can I request a private consultation with Danielle?

Yes. Danielle is available for private consultations at the rate of $85/hour. To request a time for a consultation, please call or text Danielle at 404-219-1266 or email [email protected].

How long will be spent at each location?

We will spend around 90 minutes at each location.

Can men and/or kids attend this event?

Absolutely! Everyone who has an interest in horses is welcome to attend.

If I can't make it to the event, can I get a refund?

We can provide refunds to those who cancel at least 12 hours before the start of the event. Those who cancel after that time may apply their $30 ticket price to a horseback riding lesson or a Sip & Ride event at Revelation Farm.
